For this year's technical program, presentation-only submissions will be considered and encouraged. Publication of full papers will still be optional for authors, but a manuscript is no longer required.

On behalf of the host SPE Sections including Appalachian, Northern West Virginia, Ohio Petroleum, Pittsburgh and East Kentucky we would like to cordially invite you to the 2026 Society of Petroleum Engineers Eastern Regional Meeting being held at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV. This year the event will be held from October 6-8 and will include a reception, technical sessions over two days, roundtable discussion breakouts, operator presentations, a keynote luncheon, exhibits, and a golf outing.

The Technical Program Committee encourages you to help shape the technical program by submitting abstracts and subsequent presentations on the following topics, with a priority given to regional case studies:
 

• Drilling and Completions

• Gas Facilities, Processing, and Measurement

• Management and Information

• Production Engineering and Operations

• Reservoir Engineering and Simulations

• Underground Natural Gas Storage & CCUS

Proposals will be accepted online through May 15th, 2026. Authors will be notified of acceptance in early June.
